Heavyweight canvas and rugged leather combine to provide additional protection without added weight. The specially tanned cow hide is durable yet supple from first use and the suede palm provides reinforcement.
Pittards is unique in that it makes its collections in-house from start to finish. Their gloves are made in their own custom-built factory in Ethiopia by a specially trained workforce. There they first make the leather, before cutting and stitching the gloves.
Pittards have been making leather goods since 1826 and it shows! You'll feel the quality of these gloves as soon as you pick them up. The leather is supple but thick and suitable for most garden uses.
See our other gloves in the Pittards Collection.
If gloves become wet allow to dry naturally away from direct heat, reshaping on the hands when damp. Apply natural leather conditioner if needed.
Size guide:
To discover your leather glove size, measure around the knuckles (excluding the thumb) and the palm of your dominant hand. The measurement you have taken in inches is your glove size (see image). If you don't have a flexible dressmakers tape measure use a piece of string and then hold that against a ruler.
