HEIMA is an independent shop in York specialising in useful things for the home, garden and outdoors.

Since 2016 we've been carefully building a collection of practical, durable products that make everyday life a little easier. From brushes and watering cans to kitchen utensils, hardware and refill products, everything we stock is chosen because we think it's genuinely useful.

Owner Maff Punton is a third-generation hardware store owner who grew up in and around the family business. If you visit the shop, there's a good chance you'll find him helping customers solve problems, track down elusive lightbulbs or discussing the finer points of tea-making.

We believe homes are better filled with things that work well, last a long time and earn their place through regular use. That's why our focus has always been on useful products, fair prices and good old-fashioned customer service.
