Since we opened in 2016 we've been supplying refill products to an ever-growing customer base. Using products from SESI and Miniml, all the refill products are on a closed-loop system - meaning that the empty tanks are collected and washed out before refilling by the supplier.
We have a quite frankly ridicuolous collection of teapots and coffee pots.
I mean, it is probably the best combination of materials known to humankind (except water, malt, yeast and hops)
Whether you need a new coffee pot, a tool for the garden, a couple of screws, a key cut or your tools sharpening we are right here for you. You can find us nestling up against the northwest section of the York walls listening to the chiming of the bells from the Minster.
Heima was born from a love of making, mending, improving, and creating.
Since 2016 we have carefully built up the wondrous array of products we offer, focusing on things which are as useful as possible whilst also being conscious of our responsibility to our environment. We are purveyors of all things from candles to tea caddies, utensils to toothbrushes, teapots, watering cans, woodware, and paint. Our modest two rooms are home to a few thousand different practical products; everything but the proverbial kitchen sink!
Owner/shop keeper/tool sharpener/general helpful chap Maff Punton is a third-generation hardware store owner; he practically cut his teeth on garden hoses and broom handles whilst growing up in the environs of the family hardware shop. Maff will happily help with any of your queries and is a font of knowledge on many subjects such as lightbulbs, eco-friendly cleaning products, the best way to brew tea, recycling, woodwork, or the pure and unabated joy of making the perfect poached egg.
