The Niwaki Leather Tool Belt is designed to keep your tool holsters close at hand while you're working in the garden, but it's perfectly happy doing the more traditional job of keeping your trousers up too.
Made from 3.5mm leather, it's supplied at around 130cm long and can be cut to size for a custom fit. The buckle comes off, making it easy to trim the belt to exactly the length you need. The leather will soften and develop a lovely patina with use, so it'll only get better looking with age.
Wear it with your Niwaki tool holsters for easy access to secateurs, snips and other gardening essentials, or wear it on its own as a simple leather belt. Outside, it can even be worn gunslinger-style with your holsters attached.
How to fit
Niwaki belts are designed to be cut to size, so take your time - measure twice, cut once.
- Thread the buckle onto the belt and try it on with your preferred trousers.
- Adjust it until it feels snug but comfortable.
- Mark where you want the belt to end, leaving roughly 10-15cm of tail beyond the buckle.
- Remove the belt and check the measurement again before cutting.
- Trim gradually using sharp scissors or a utility knife, keeping the cut straight.
If you want a neater finished edge, you can smooth it with fine sandpaper or a leather edge beveler. Leather edge dye or beeswax can also be used to finish the cut edge.
