A superb all-round woodcarving knife, ideal for beginners and experienced carvers alike.
Designed for shaping, detail work, whittling, and general woodcarving, this versatile knife is easy to control and straightforward to sharpen, making it an excellent choice for anyone starting out in the craft.
The barrel-shaped handle is made from sustainably sourced Scandinavian birch, treated with linseed oil for a comfortable grip. A full rat-tail tang runs through the entire handle, providing strength and stability during use.
The tapered carbon steel blade takes a very keen edge and is highly regarded by woodcarvers around the world. These knives are made in Sweden and are closely associated with the skilled craftspeople of Nusnäs, home of the famous hand-carved Dala horse.
Carbon steel will rust if neglected, so the blade should be wiped dry after use and occasionally treated with a little Camellia Oil.
