  • Perennial Hand Fork, Forged Boron Steel

    Only 4 left

A wonderfully useful halfway house between a hand fork and a full-sized digging fork.

This De Wit hand fork is perfect for working in crowded borders where a long-handled fork feels cumbersome but a hand fork doesn't quite provide enough reach or leverage. It's ideal for cultivating soil, loosening weeds, incorporating compost, lifting smaller plants, and working between established shrubs and perennials.

Unlike many garden forks, the tines are supplied with sharp points that penetrate soil easily, while the solid ash handle provides excellent strength and comfort in use.

De Wit tools are handmade in Holland from Swedish boron steel - the same type of steel used for bulldozer blades. They've been making tools for over 120 years, so it's fair to say they know a thing or two about building them to last.
