A banneton, or proving basket, helps dough hold its shape during its final rise before baking. The natural cane absorbs a little surface moisture from the dough, encouraging the formation of a crisp crust while creating the attractive spiral pattern that's become the hallmark of artisan loaves.
Made from 100% natural cane and secured with rust-resistant stainless steel pins, these baskets provide support for softer doughs and help produce consistently shaped loaves time after time.
