These woven copper cleaning cloths are remarkably effective for tackling stubborn dirt, baked-on food, limescale, and grime without resorting to harsh chemicals. Used with water, they are marketed by the manufacturer as non-scratch and are suitable for many hard surfaces, including stainless steel and chrome.
They're particularly useful on pots, pans, sinks, hobs, and oven dishes. We'd always recommend testing first on an inconspicuous area, however, and they should never be used on Teflon, non-stick coatings, or delicate painted surfaces.
Unlike many copper-coated scourers, these are made from woven copper fibre and are designed to last. The double-layer construction provides extra strength, and they can even be washed in the washing machine when they need freshening up.
