Description

A wonderfully specialised little saw designed to make perfectly flush cuts without marking the surrounding wood.

The Niwaki Flush Cut Saw features an exceptionally flexible double-sided blade with teeth that have no set. This allows the blade to lie flat against the surface, making it ideal for trimming dowels, pegs and tenons cleanly and accurately without damaging the finished work.

It's not intended for general sawing or cutting large pieces of timber. In fact, the very thing that makes it so good at flush cuts means it will bind if pushed beyond its intended purpose. But kept for the jobs it was designed for, it's an indispensable tool for woodworking, furniture making and detailed joinery.

After use, wipe the blade clean with a dry cloth and apply a light coat of camellia oil to help prevent rust. Store somewhere dry, ideally with a blade cover to protect the fine teeth.
