Wooden Soap Dish

So you've made the switch from liquid soap to bar soap. But it's like a slippery fish that wants to jump back into the sink at every opportunity! We love these wooden soap dishes which have nice grippy rubber feet to stay solidly on the edge of your sink. They look cool, they're easy to clean and they don't make a racket if you drop them in the sink whilst you're doing it.

Many woods could quickly stain or distort with prolonged contact with water but these two options avoid that. The darker 'Thermowood' is heat-treated Ash which closes the pores of the wood to prevent water ingress. The lighter is Pearwood (yes, from the ear tree) which naturally has a very, very fine grain and makes it naturally water repellent.
