About Jute: Renewable, Sustainable, Biodegradable...

• Jute plants are easy to grow with little need for fertilisers or pesticides and have a high yield per acre. They absorb more CO2 than trees so are good for the air, and are enriching for the soil. 
• All dyes used are azo free.
• The sewing thread used is made of 70% poly and 30% cotton. It cannot be 100% cotton thread as this will not tolerate the sewing machine tension needed to be able to stitch the jute into place.
• Made responsibly in Bangladesh.
