Heart-shaped Potting Trowel, Forged Boron Steel

The potting trowel is said to be Monty Don's favourite piece of kit. DeWit's version of the heart-shaped potting trowel is quite the versatile piece of kit. It's squat heart-shaped blade is wide enough for scooping compost into pots but the point is ideal for digging too. The smaller head lets you tamp down soil after planting, and the edge is ground semi-sharp to ease cutting into the soil.

DeWit tools are hand made in Holland using Swedish Boron steel - the same steel used on bulldozer blades. So, yep, it's really, really tough! And they've been doing this for over 120 years so they know what they're doing.
